Each year, Thanksgiving brings friends and families together to celebrate and reflect on the things we are thankful for. Here at Rahua, we are immensely thankful for our supportive fans and retail partners and for our special relationship with the indigenous communities in the Amazon Rainforest. By using Rahua, you are supporting the cultural rituals and ceremonial traditions of the people who live there and in turn, they are preserving the Amazon Rainforest. We obtain our rainforest-grown, handmade ingredients at above fair price, in order to empower the communities that are guardians of the forest. We are so thankful for your support!
Our founders, Fabian Lliguin and Anna Ayers, created The Rahua brand 10 years ago with the goal of saving the Amazon Rainforest by providing the indigenous nations with education about their rights, so they are empowered to protect their land and the culture of their people. Prior to launching Rahua, Fabian and Anna started Ecoagents, a nonprofit organization, created to defend and protect the untouched natural areas of the world from damage, pollution, and further destruction, with a special focus on the Amazon Rainforest, its people, and ancient culture. We believe the key to saving the Amazon Rainforest is empowering the people who live there.
This year we celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary and we want to take this opportunity to express how grateful we are to our customers, retail stores and indigenous partners in the Amazon Rainforest.
