Freestyle Texturizer

I use this mostly to add texture to my fringe and shorter layers of my hair, and it works lovely. It helps my otherwise silky hair hold shape

You don't need a lot on short hair. It will last for a long while with the size it's offered in.

The product I cannot miss for my thin and « foamy » hair - I bring it everywhere

I have stick straight, fine hair that can't hold a curl and hairspray weighs it down. I did not expect this to work because it feels like a heavy lotion in your hands. But I applied it to damp hair before blow drying and it makes my hair so fluffy and full! Tons of volume at the root and it just fluffs up my whole head of hair! It makes my hair look 2x thicker. After drying, I put in my heatless curlers and when I take them out in the morning, my hair holds the wave much longer than without it. And it's still soft and not crunchy (just make sure to disperse the product well when you're applying it).

I’ve finally found the “one and done” product after years and years of trying to define and extend my wavy/curly hair between wash days. I never write reviews but I’ve tried so many products - gel, foams, mousses, sea salt sprays, hair sprays, creams, etc etc on their own and in combination with other products. I first tried the freestyle texturizer on a lazy day, when I wasn’t about to diffuse or make any fuss over my hair, and it turned out amazing. I’ve since experimented with diffusing and air drying and my hair looks defined but not stringy, with hold but without crunch, and bouncy and voluminous with only two pumps of the texturizer. Im seriously considering just getting rid of all my other hair products. Please never discontinue this product!

This is a great option for a texture styler. Most options make my hair feel like straw and unbrushable but this one does not. I have fine thin hair and apply to the lower half of my hair.

I have short hair with little body and this product is great at giving my hair enough body so that it stays spiky. I have used this product for a number of years despite the problem of getting the product out of the pump bottle. When I get about halfway through the bottle, the pump stops working (see photo). I have tried cleaning the pump and moving it around in the product but nothing helps. I end up using a long thin spatula to extract the product from the bottle. The pump broke on the current bottle I am using (see photo). VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I have contacted Rahua on several occasions and they are always surprised to hear about this problem. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this difficulty. I understand the sustainability issue of using glass but from a user point of view, a tube where one could squeeze the product out would be so much more user friendly.

It adds some light texture to my hair. Loving the shampoo and conditioners more though!

This is great stuff. I love the mousse and I love the volume spray. This is great. The volume is insane and my waves are great!!!! I actually used it when my hair was damp and a little when it was dry.

I’ve been using the Freestyle Texturizer for over 10 years and it’s still the best product I’ve ever used. I have very fine hair with little volume, and this cream truly makes a huge difference. The previous plastic packaging was more practical because you could use every last bit of the product. With the current glass bottle, about a quarter remains inside, and when you remove the pump to get the product out using the tube, the tube breaks at the end. A squeezable tube might be a nice alternative. That said, please never discontinue this product because of the packaging — I would much rather keep it just the way it is.

I do not find the Aloe Mousse good for fine hair. I have 2 a fine wavy hair and this product makes my hair too soft no matter how little I used. It should have more hold. Otherwise, this is better for hair that needs to be softened due to its coarse nature. The only thing I like about this product is its lightness and the fact that it is not heavily fragranced.
